Ticket Transfer lets you send tickets to friends before the event, straight from your Ticketmaster account to theirs. No more driving around town handing out tickets or waiting outside the venue for the friend who’s always late! Ticket Transfer is convenient, simple and free and can be done on your desktop or mobile.
How do I transfer tickets to a friend?
- Sign into your My Account and select from the list of ‘Upcoming Events’.
- Click the button to transfer tickets and follow the simple steps onscreen to transfer to your friends. You can transfer as many tickets as you like.

Can I transfer tickets that someone has transferred to me?
Yes, you can! Once you accept the tickets they’re all yours. If you can’t use them, you can transfer them back to the person who sent them, or transfer them to anyone else you like.
I have transferred my tickets, but my friend has not received them.
Here are a couple of steps you can try to recover the transfer:
- Allow a few hours for the email to arrive, and have your friend check their spam folders.
- If he/she definitely did not receive it, cancel the transfer from your account and start over.
- Check that the email address has been entered correctly.
- Transfer the tickets through your account on our website instead of the application.
- Try using a different browser.
- Try sending them to an alternative email address, if possible.
If you have followed all these steps and your friend still hasn't received the transfer invitation, click on "Contact" at the bottom of this page to find out how to get in touch with our team and we will try to help you.
Ticket transfer is not available in my account.
Whenever possible, we will offer the option to transfer electronic and digital tickets, but at the moment it is not available for all events; it may vary from event to event.
If you do not see the option in your account, it means that the transfer service is not currently available. It may be available at a later date, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee or confirm this in advance; we can only advise you to keep checking your account for further news.
So, if the transfer is not available, it means that your whole group (you and your companions) will have to arrive at the event together.
You can also add your ticket from the Ticketmaster app to Google Pay or Apple Wallet for easy access on the day of the event if the transfer button does not appear on your account.
Why can't I accept a transfer invitation?
If you are having trouble accepting a ticket transfer invitation from a friend, please try the following first:
- Make sure you are using a web browser to accept the tickets, not the Ticketmaster app.
- Try using a different browser or device.
- Remember that in order to transfer the ticket, your friend must be registered with Ticketmaster.es.
- If you continue to have problems, ask your friend to cancel the ticket transfer through their Ticketmaster account and try again.
